A NEW staff car park has opened at Bridgend’s Princess of Wales Hospital.
The multi-storey facility will provide an extra 900 spaces for Trust workers.
Barriers went up for the first time last week – two weeks ahead of schedule. The final switch took place on Monday, when the existing north staff car park became a patient and visitor area to provide extra spaces for hospital users.
Workers at the Princess of Wales now enter via a new access off the A4061, designed to ease congestion. The entrance for patients and visitors remains on Coity Road.
